5 Healing Teas to Rock Your Life

I love herbal tea and it packs some serious health and nutritional benefits. I often times think of tea and healing foods as my secret weapon to ward off illness and weight-gain! Here are some staples that I always have on hand and why:



1. Pau D'Arco aka The Divine Bark

It's worth mentioning that sometimes the health benefits of tea accrue when a certain quantity is consumed over a period of time. For example, in order to reap the reduction in menstrual cramps of Chamomile tea it should be consume daily for at least 2-3 weeks before cramps are reduced.

  1. A fine breakdown right here. It's really important for buyers and tea connoisseurs to be aware of what type of tea they can avail of for their tea parties or noon breaks. And that they don't have to skimp on their nutritional requirements either, or put such things aside as moot. Sure, tea really helps in cleaning up your system, but you can push the health gains further by other types. Really liking this list, and hope you do more of these lists for our reference.

    1. I agree, I think foods have healing properties and tea is no exception. I also think it's important to buy good quality foods and beverages. Unfortunately most foods have pesticides and chemicals in them these days. I just read a great blog recently where they compared the top teas on the market - some of the really common ones have tons of pesticides in them! I'll be posting more about teas in the future.
